Add Links and PirateLinkBot modifications
« on: May 14, 2009, 04:52:38 PM »

hi again,

1- I think you can make a little editing to the "add links" script. You may allow users to specify whether links are interchangeable (single links) or split parts (must download all).
For example : Greys.Anatomy.S05E18.HDTV.XviD-0TV
I had to add single links and post them, then come back to add split parts on rapidshare and post them, and then come back again to add split parts on 4shared and so on. I didn't post them all at once to avoid misunderstanding. Can you enable this?

2- Can you direct your PirateLinkBot to specific websites posting links in a standard method?
I have 2 websites, both are posting links in a standard way, so you can easily figure out how it wordks and this to your bot.
Is this possible?

The first one is http://renegadearmy.net/
As you can see, It has an rss but it's set to short summary and doesn't have links. It has all HIO uploads. Episode name written in standard format (series.season.episode) followed by the links for specific hosts all are direct downloading, not torrents.
In HTML, you can see that <td class="rls"> followed by links where id of the tag <a> is the release name and links come after the class "more"
If you cad grab links from this.. You should have the greatest source for releases links (Total Uploads: 4937)

The second one is http://www.madcrowd.net/
Links are easy to find too, you can use font classes to identify links: "info_serie", "info_episode", "info_name" which is the release name. Links on standard hosts: MegaUpload, Netload, Rapidshare and Hotfile.

Was I helpful?
